What is viburnum mo?

Viburnum molle is a species of flowering plant in the family Adoxaceae. It is native to eastern Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan) and is commonly known as the Chinese snowball or soft leaf viburnum.

The plant is a large, deciduous shrub that can grow up to 20 feet tall. It has glossy, dark green leaves that are oval-shaped and can be up to 5 inches long. In the spring, it produces large, round, creamy white flowers that are similar in appearance to hydrangeas. These flowers can be up to 6 inches in diameter and are held in clusters that can be up to 8 inches across.

After the flowers fade, the plant produces red, berry-like fruits that turn black when they ripen in the fall. These fruits are commonly eaten by birds and other wildlife.

Viburnum molle is a hardy and low-maintenance plant that is well-suited to a variety of garden situations. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade to full sun. It is also drought-tolerant and can withstand occasional periods of dry weather. The plant is generally pest- and disease-resistant, but can be affected by aphids, scale insects, and powdery mildew.
